What the labels mean
Works works out of the box · Needs app works once you install the maker's app · Partial works with limits (named in the note) · No not available · Unverified not yet confirmed from a trusted source. We never guess.
Where the data comes from
Only official support pages (Apple, Samsung, Google, Sony, Bose, Beats), Samsung's "Feature Compatibility by OS" PDF, and reputable outlets (Engadget, The Verge, 9to5Mac, Android Authority, Android Central). Every row links to its source.
How it stays fresh
Each week we re-check the source pages for changes, and update after firmware and OS releases. Last checked 2026-10-28.
Phones
"Pixel" = Google Pixel phones; "Galaxy" = Samsung Galaxy phones; "Other Android" = Android phones from other makers. Where a source groups Pixel under "other Android", both columns show the same result.
